Our holiday flat is located in Dresden Striesen, one of the most desirable residential areas of the city. Since creation of the Wilhelminian district with hundreds of villa-like townhouses there is one saying in Dresden: "Do you want to enjoy life, go toward Striesen".
In this spirit, we invite you to join us in a typical posh Dresden villa house of 1896! Let yourself be enchanted of a quarter, that is without comparison ... Be part of "DRESDEN AROUND 1900"!

The entire city landscape in the area is designated as conservation area due to remarkable architectural diversity and quality. Even the short walk to the bakery or supermarket is in Striesen for sightseeing tour: on wide boulevards through the open villas and town houses with some park-like gardens.
When you stroll 15 minutes to the Loschwitz bridge (Blaues Wunder), you will be probably thrilled. There you experience the center of approximately 7 square kilometers Historical Reserve, continuing to the Elbe palaces and the posh district "Weißer Hirsch" on the other side of the river.

By the way: the beer gardens, cafes and restaurants around the historic steel suspension bridge are legendary. The famous german poet Schiller had already eaten at the restaurant and beer garden (today called) "Schillergarten" in 1785. And "Villa Marie", "Café Toscana" or "Körnergarten" provide you that "Florence on the river Elbe" you are probably looking, but is not easily to find elsewhere because of the crowds ...

Nevertheless, Old Town and New Town at the historic city center are touristic Must-see attractions for any visitors to Dresden. Its only 4 km away from our apartment and quite easily accessible by direct TRAM (tram stop Pohlandplatz - 350m, no interchange nessesary)! Alternatively you may like to use one of the four bicycles, belonging to our apartment. Get first on a relaxed ride through villa district and Forest Park to the river Elbe (1km). Here you may enjoy the perfect view to the Elbe Palaces. Drive further on, along the wide river meadows directly to Castle and Opera square (more 4km) ... For us, the meadows below the 3 Elbe Palaces are the best part of Dresden, because we are thrilled by the vastness of the landscape and we find tranquility.

Speaking of calm: Our apartment is situated on the top floor of a Villa, located in a side street. The flat is directed to the green courtyard, so you will sleep heavenly. Also you will certainly like the view in the park-like backyard and to the roofs of the surrounding houses.
But not only that. At 62 square meters, we have established a residential oasis for our guests, with a mix of classic, modern and antique furniture on Maple parquet. After an eventful day you can relax on the generous seating in the living room with a novel or surf on the Internet (surf stick on request). In the fully equipped kitchen you will find all (induction stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker ...), to serve perfect meals in the adjoining dining area.

The rental price of the appartment includes all costs for accommodation of 1 to 2 persons (incl. Bed linen, towels and bicycle rental). For the final cleaning we charge a flat rate of 35, - Euro.

We can accommodate up to 5 people.
In addition to the double bed in the bedroom the two couches in the living room  can be folded out to sleep of 1.40 x 2.00 m. For additional persons we charge an extra fee.
From 7 nights and get 10% discount.

There is NO additional VAT. But we have to collect the additional Dresden tourist tax (6,66%). 
 
Guests are requested not to smoke in the apartment.

- Public Transport 300m, city center and Central Station can be reached directly by TRAM in about 15 minutes.

- Within a radius of 500m all daily consumer goods (supermarkets, discounters, organic supermarket, bakery, drugstore, etc.), doctors and pharmacies availebel.

- 1km to urban district center Schillerplatz with individual shops, city shopping and multiplex cinema.

- University Hospital by car 5 minutes.

Check in is possible between 15.oo and 22.oo o´clock.
Check out until 11.oo am.
Depending on demand and capacity, there may be the possibility to postpone your arrival and departure beyond this period.

- After your booking, please inform us about your planed arrival (Afternoon, Evening, Nighttime).
- It is also important, that you contact us 1 hour before your check in on the day of your arrival.
- Please call again 15 minutes before, so we make sure to meet you at the apartment.

cancellation policy:
Cancellation is free until 21 days before arrival.
Until 14 days before arrival we charge 50%,
to 3 days before arrival 80% and
in less than 3 days before arrival 90%
of the total price.
No show we also charge 90% of the total price.Public Transportation at Pohlandplatz (300m):
- TRAM 10 - direct connection to Main Station and Trade Fair
- TRAM 4 - provides direct access to historic City Center
- BUS 61 - without change to University
- From the Dresden airport by suburban train (S-Bahn) to Central Station, from there take TRAM 10

The apartment is located in a residential area. Consistently free parking in sufficient numbers at your disposal.
